Dear Ambleside Online members,
This is a VERY important announcement, so please read!
The AO forum and email list will take a restful Holiday Break beginning on Tuesday, Dec 18. We'll re-open the forum and email list again on Charlotte Mason's birthday, Tuesday, January 1. The forum will be closed to posting. Any messages sent to the email list during the break will not post, and will not be held in a queue to post when we go active again on January 1.
The CM method is about more than homeschooling; it's about life and relationships. We would like our AO family of members, moderators, Auxiliary and Advisory to step back from lessons and computers, and take time to savor the holidays with their loved ones.
For the benefit of anyone who might be starting homeschool for the first time right after the holidays, and those who have some other immediate need in order to begin their January term, the Question and Answer subforum will remain open. We ask that this venue be used during the break only for this purpose.
Should you need AO information during the break, the archives will remain available at our forum:
https://amblesideonline.org/forum/index.php
and Yahoogroup:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/AmblesideOnline/
...and of course the AO website will remain up and running.
We encourage you all to explore AO's special Holiday pages during the break!

May you find time to reflect on the meaning of Christmas, enjoy time with those you love, and be refreshed as you anticipate the coming year.
We wish you a Merry Christmas!
