So I have a 2013 iMac. The most recent macOS we can install is Catalina. Chrome says it also can't update but it still works with whichever chrome we have. I haven't found a website that doesn't work though (inc AO). I can send you photos of what we have if it helps at all. I just don't know what we are doing different!
